I love the book "How not to die"

Always wanted try out plant based diets, but every time I asked for advice my family called me insane. Why would I do that, when everyone from our friends and family is, and always was eating meat.
Then one day I decided to check out this book, the book that everyone was talking about and with an interesting title " How not to die" by Dr.Michael Greger. Wow was the book heavy, never would have thought that it has more than 500 pages, and even more surprisingly, I had a lot of fun reading through them. It was not entertaining because of the victims who fell sick, rather cause of the success stories, and the amount of people who can live a happy life on a plant based diet.
The only other book that I had so much fun reading was "The way of way of the superior man" which talks about being a "man" and taking responsibility for your actions. One is connected to the other I feel, as the only way you are going to stop eating meat is when you stop blaming your conditioning (family,friends,surroundings) and accept that you are in full control.
Another reason I feel like having a plant based diet is because history will repeat itself. We knew for a long time that smoking is harmful, and as a result the only way companies can sell cigarettes, is if they put a picture and a slogan:" smoking is harmful, can lead to cancer" etc. How long until animal products will have the same slogan? I don't know, but I am not waiting to find out.
All in all it's a very informative and amazing book, and I recommend everyone to read it.
